We're excited to welcome new team members to the Show Them the World family! Here's three things to consider to help you figure out whether the travel industry and our family is the right fit for you.

1. Are you a self-starter? 
   We will mentor and guide you, and you will have access to all the education and resources at our amazing host agency, Gifted Travel Network, and our luxury consortium, Virtuoso. However, as an Independent Contractor, you are responsible for your own success.
    

2. Can you invest the time to be successful?
   Building a new business takes time and commitment. Many advisors work full-time while others work part-time around their kids or even as a side gig in addition to another job. You get to decide when, where and how much you work, but I believe you need at least 20 hours per week to see success. 
    

3. Will the business model work with your finances?
   Travel advisors' primary income comes from commissions the hotels and tour operators pay after clients have traveled, so you won't make money right away. If you need a set income, this industry is probably not right for you.
