December–April: Ideal weather, lower humidity, and the most consistent conditions. This is peak season when travelers want to escape the cold, and the most sought-after resorts and room categories book well in advance. Planning ahead, ideally 9-12 months out, is critical.

July–October: Hurricane season, although some islands are out of the hurricane belt or are rarely in the path of hurricanes. However, the weather can be hot, muggy, and rainy. Prices are lower during this time period, and some resorts close for maintenance in September.
