How do I start planning my trip?
Start by booking a complimentary consultation call. We’ll talk about your past travels and travel style, as well as your requirements and wishes for this trip. We'll ask questions, share recommendations, and agree on next steps. When you're ready to get started, you'll complete the Traveler Services Agreement, we'll add you to our client system and travel calendar, and travel design begins!
Do you design custom itineraries?
Yes! Every itinerary is crafted just for you and your family based on your interests, travel style, and budget. We don’t sell pre-set packages — we design experiences that reflect what you want from your vacation.
What kind of trips do you plan? What are your destination specialties?
We specialize in family-focused, meaningful travel — from tropical escapes to multi-stop exploration across Europe to cruise expeditions in far-away places. Our specialties include Hawaii, the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Africa, New Zealand, and Australia. In Europe, we are experienced in many countries and modes of travel, including Italy, Greece, France, England, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Croatia, Iceland, plus river and ocean cruises. ​​
What credentials do you have?
Show Them the World was founded in 2021 and has since helped hundreds of families see the world together. Heather Vergara, the founder of Show Them the World,
Heather gave up her marketing career with Pepsico to be a mom and never found her way back to the corporate world. Instead, she focused on her passion for travel and created Show Them the World in 2021. She's now a Top Producer and Multi-Million Dollar Advisor with Gifted Travel Network, a boutique luxury host agency partnered with Virtuoso.
Heather has an MBA in Marketing from Indiana University, an Executive Education certificate in Digital Marketing from Columbia University, and a BA in Journalism from the University of North Carolina. She lives with her husband, two kids and two furry dogs in Zionsville, Indiana.
